The SKYCAM-W is a blended wing aerodynamic design for ultimate range and endurance capabilities. The UAV can handle a flight time of 90+ minutes on a single charge with a range of up to 50 KM with tracking. The UAV guarantees minimal footprint and can be operated by a single person or autonomous. Common applications of the SkyCam-W include Battlefield Surveillance, Land Surveying and Remote Sensing.
The SKYCAM-W is configurable with multiple payload options including PTZ and thermal payloads. Weighing just 2 KGs the UAS can be hand launched and recovered by belly landing making it available and responsive on short notice. The simplicity and ease of operation greatly reduce operator training and improves aircraft survivability.
A complete system consists of 2 SKYCAM-W UAV’s; A laptop PC Ground Control Station with programming and moving map mission display software; a DSS (Digital Spread Spectrum) telecommand link; antennas, cables and operational spares.
