EXPLORER VTOL

After much success of the EXPLORER, INTEGRATED DYNAMICS presents the EXPLORER VTOL.

The EXPLORER is a UAV system, with an operational range of 200 km, and is designed for more advanced military, civilian or scientific research programs that require a proven platform as an equipment or sensor test bed. The EXPLORER is most commonly used as a surveillance platform. Able to operate out to altitudes of over 10000 feet (3000 m) and above,  with an economical and compact IC engine powerplant, the EXPLORER VTOL challenges the competition with its refined aerodynamics, advanced flight control systems, and highly developed long range data links. The EXPLORER VTOL can stay in the air for over 4 – 6 hours on 12 liters of fuel.

The EXPLORER is launched and recovered by vertical takeoff and landing and requires a space of at least 10 m x 10 m. The simplicity and ease of operation greatly reduce operator training and improve aircraft survivability.

A complete system consists of 2 EXPLORER VTOL UAVs; the GCS-1200 Ground Control Station with programming and moving map mission display software; a DSS (Digital Spread Spectrum) telecommand link; antennas, cables and operational spares.
